70 acres of waterfront land, bought vacant, built full-cycle into a resort, sold as a business.
In October 2007, bought 70 acres of commercial-zoned waterfront land in Renfrew County under a private company, 1747251 LTD. Over the next five years, designed and built a cottage resort from nothing — blueprint design, working with local authorities, on-site planning, and supply — then ran the business end to end: staffing, bookings, marketing, IT and finance. Business names: Goldenville Cottages and A&A Cabins.
Sold the business in 2019, on schedule with a signed sale-purchase agreement. Under the new owner, the property has operated as Lakepoint Resort since spring 2020.
